1000 Moons

To be honest, if Ketsudai died, Execution wouldn't feel much. He doesn't know positive emotion, but he does only know one master, and he would never be able to be traded off to somebody else.

In the event that he outlived his master, Execution would most likely wait in the very spot in the assumption that eventually, Ketsudai would reincarnate or relive somewhere else. It takes basking in the energy and light of the moon, for 1000 cycles of it, for new life to be given to a creature that was otherwise dead. Execution would wait, and make sure that his master's grave was well kept and clear of debris, hoping that this new life would be given to his lost companion.





That being said, my family has a lot of stories and 'myths' of other family members. Not anybody we can question today, but one such story was that my great grandfather used to share meat / lunches with a panther/jaguar. This panther slept on his porch regularly and waited for food, and allegedly, when he died, it followed his smell up to his grave and screamed all night long.

Not that this is meant to be taken overly serious- I'm sure most families have stories. I just thought it coincided decently with the image.
