Pyre Jouten (Hayate Liger) and Akunen Ikari (Liger Blue) are both "OC" Zoids of mine~

In their setting, Murasame Ligers descended from the original Mugen Liger. As such, they inherited different aspects of that original Mugen, which came with evolving from the core fragments of the original. Pyre Jouten was the wrathful, often repressed side, and this genetic rage began to show through when his original Murasame form was finally able to evolt.

Because of Hayate Liger's natural affinity for infernos, the Zoid was considered a wide-spread terror amongst the commoners of Zi. When Pyre's pilot, Manakai Lith, tried to settle in one town, the towns folk wanted to drive him out to get rid of Pyre, in fear that the Murasame Liger was too great of a threat.

Akunen Ikari's pilot, Setsuna, was one of the few people to defend him (much to the disapproval of her father). The events got more severe, until Pyre killed Setsuna's father, and several of his friends, after they and their Zoids turned violent to attempt to scare his pilot out of town. In fear of facing Setsuna after what his Zoid had done, Manakai took Pyre and fled.

It wasn't until several years later that he returned, in time to defend Akunen Ikari from an enemy threat.

Update: Added some texture and battle damage to the Zero. I meant to do so before, but got a little carried away and forgot~
